This beautiful hotel was run by the very amiable and competent staff. Loved the room with very comfortable beds, my bed was comfy. A bath and a shower were available there. The location was quiet and lovely for exploring Oize.

Its location in large garden is quiet. Furthermore, it's really close to motorway Western Channel ports, the grounds and gardens.

We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful country house. The room we stayed in was spacious and well decorated, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The grounds were very pleasant, and we enjoyed spending time by the swimming pool. The owner host was welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The dinner provided was delicious and filling, and we appreciated the option to have dinner on-site. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, such as the lack of a shower over the bath and no tea making facilities in the room, these were not major issues for us. we had a great time and would recommend this hotel to others.

The swimming pool available for guest use was a great way to relax and cool off after a long day. The grounds of the country house were very pleasant and provided a beautiful backdrop for the stay. the room we stayed in was well-decorated, clean, and comfortable. The unexpected bonus of having a fridge in the room was also a nice touch.

The lack of a shower over the bath or a separate shower was a bit inconvenient. not having tea making facilities in the room was a small disappointment.

During our stay over Easter, we were pleased with the beautiful renovations of the property, maintaining its original fixtures and adding lots of character. The stunning grounds added to the overall charm of the place. We also enjoyed the delicious dinner options, especially the nettle soup, and found the food to be of great value. the hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome.

One drawback was the location of the property near a chicken farm, which resulted in an unpleasant odor at times. We also felt that the cleanliness of the place could have been improved, as there was a lingering smell inside the house.

We got great value for our money at Chateau De Montaupin. The room was comfortable and the location was peaceful. The staff treated us superbly and made our stay enjoyable.

Incredible hosts, perfect English spoken by both host and mother. Easy to find with beautiful rooms and large bathrooms. EXCELLENT and great value meal with wide range of starters, main course, cheese, dessert. Superb and considerate staff, quirky and homely atmosphere with a relaxed setting. Outdoor pool and evening meal were amazing. Family doing a fantastic job preserving this historically important property. Sharing communal dining table was a lovely experience, with helpful fellow guests. Breakfast was good, made even better by a surprise visit from a hen!

It's worth noting that the communal dining setup allowed for socializing with other guests. Despite the lack of restaurants in the village, we found nearby towns with great dining options. The location of the Chateau De Montaupin made it easy to access main roads and explore the area. It's also family-friendly, and our kids had a blast playing with the owner's children while we enjoyed the pool. a super experience with incredible hospitality and a range of amenities that made our stay mind-blowing.
